Accredo

is Fine Art Photography in 35mm.

Accredo is the attempt to capture the individual beauty of the moment. Something catches my eye and tells me that there is a story here that needs to be told. I am fortunate enough to be allowed to tell it. If the sun is out, my images are filled with the sunshine. If it is cloudy, the images have the smokey texture of the day covering them. If it has rained, the images will have the soft petals of water on them. I add and subtract nothing from them; they are the way I saw them through my lens. My goal is to show the viewer what I saw, the beauty and grace of the objects around us.

I have been fortunate enough to travel and due to that, some of images are from different countries. All of images are taken with respect for the individual beauty that they represent.

The photographs that are taken by me are not altered in any way. The images are lab developed. They are not scanned into a computer and altered. They way the image appeared in the lens of the camera is the way the image appears on photo paper.

I believe that 35mmm photography is a demanding and artistic form of work. 35mm takes skill, practice and patience to master. Since my images are printed on lab quality paper, they will last a lifetime not 25-35 years. Unlike digital, which makes it all to easy to alter images in this fast paced, impatient, commercial world, 35mm takes the heart of an artist in waiting. This is art, not a retail store.

I have been fortunate to show my art in the greater Wisconsin area. I have won best in show at Cedar Grove and been invited back to every art show that I have attended. I have participated in the Spring Garden Market in Kohler, WI and Greendales’ Trimborn Festival. Also, I regularly attend both the Cedarburg festivals, just to name a few.

I have multiple degrees but none rank next to my love for my art. All through my childhood into my adult years, art has been a central focus. I have always strived to improve my talents and find new venues for expression. Photography is affording that expression.

Thank you for your consideration,
